Terms of use
Working draft for the private preview. Not a public offer or an active paid subscription agreement. Last reviewed in product: 2026-10-14.
1. Operator and scope
Souffleur is a remote Model Context Protocol bridge developed by Kontrastudio OÜ, Estonia. It connects authorised AI clients to computers explicitly paired by their owner. The current deployment is intended for the operator's private use and controlled testing.
2. Access and authorisation
Only persons entitled to access a device may pair it or request operations. Access to a client account, OAuth grant, access key or paired computer must be protected. The owner may revoke clients, devices and execution permission independently. A connected AI client acts within the permissions the owner has configured.
3. Remote actions and approvals
Requests may read or change files and, if enabled, execute commands. Sandboxed execution uses an operating-system-enforced profile and a program allowlist, but no technical control removes all risk. A separately enabled shell tier can run with the paired computer user's full privileges and is not sandboxed. Review the exact command, target device and effect before approving. Maintain independent backups and keep sensitive paths outside authorised workspaces.
4. Ownership and acceptable use
Users retain their rights in files and materials on their computers. Souffleur's non-open-source implementation, branding and interface remain the property of their respective owners. Do not connect devices without authorisation, interfere with other systems, or violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
5. Integrations and service availability
External AI clients, identity providers, networking and hosting services remain subject to their own terms. Remote availability depends on the paired agent, network, relay and provider. Early versions may change, experience downtime or lose features during testing. Device execution and AI-generated outputs must be independently checked.
6. Payments and later product access
There is currently no public Souffleur subscription, usage allowance or checkout. Pricing, invoicing, renewal, cancellation, refunds and consumer withdrawal rights must be published before any commercial launch. No payment obligation is created by this draft.
7. Privacy, access removal and changes
See the accompanying privacy notice for present-day data handling and limitations. Authorised access can be withdrawn by the owner. Public terms will need publication dates, change notices and applicable statutory protections before release.
8. Legal review and contact
This document is a product-development draft, not legal advice or a substitute for individually reviewed Estonian and EU contractual terms. Nothing here attempts to waive mandatory legal rights. For review or data requests, contact studio@kontrastudio.eu.
